About the Artist

Bruce grew up in India where he was born and lived until graduating from high school. After studying biology and printmaking in college in Illinois he moved to Vermont with his artist wife, Ann, and started Bruce Peck Etchings. Together they often returned to India for visits and 25 years ago started dividing their time between Vermont and India every year, places they both found inspiring for their lives and artwork. Bruce maintained working studios in India and Vermont, working on new copper plates in India in the winter and then printing the plates in Vermont, hand coloring and framing them before marketing the etchings in shows and galleries.

Bruce has been making etchings for over 35 years. His detailed hand colored etchings explore the beauty and character of both New England and India. He is committed to creating prints of the finest quality using traditional techniques and the best of modern materials. This commitment has led to award winning prints and representation in galleries in New England and India. He prints his copperplate etchings in limited signed editions on archival printmaking paper. Each original etching is hand pulled, hand colored, and archivally framed by the artist to create a collectible work of fine art.
